Training to Survive an Inflight Emergency

Watch as we respond to a hypothetical disaster in a smoke-filled full-motion simulator.

As a passenger, you might well think that nothing can prepare you for an inflight emergency.  No matter how many times you hear pre-departure guidance from flight attendants, would you really be ready to respond to a genuine emergency?

A company called Aircare International is trying to improve the odds of surviving an emergency by providing detailed, realistic training for private aircraft passengers and flight crew. It uses a full-motion simulator to give students a true sense of how they should react to a variety of dangerous situations inflight.
