When looking your best requires help
For those who go straight from business jet to boardroom-not to mention those whose aircraft are greeted on the ramp by paparazzi-looking good when you land means a lot. With that in mind, beauty consultant and celebrity makeup artist Jill Harth has introduced an airborne grooming service that can include skin cleansing, wrinkle application, hydrating mask, moisturizing, eye treatment, eyebrow shaping, manicure and even airbrush makeup.
"It's a combination of grooming and pampering," she explained, adding that about half her clients are men, many of them executives who want to arrive refreshed and alert, ready to do battle or face the cameras.
"On a long trip, I try to pace it so everything isn't left to the last minute," Harth said. "The idea is to leave the client with a fresh, youthful and alert appearance and the knowledge that they look their best. The products are selected to fit each client; are hypoallergenic/antioxidant; and are created from botanical-based formulas, said Harth, whose company, Jill Harth Makeup Services and Beauty Products, is based in New York City. The service costs $1,250 per day plus expenses, and Harth said demand has been steadily increasing to about a half-dozen trips a month. "They can't go to the spa, so I bring the spa to them," she added.
