The accommodations are accommodating, but will they accommodate man's best friend? Fido Friendly Magazine (
www.fidofriendly.com) recently showcased what its readers consider the 10 most dog-friendly luxury resorts in the U.S. About 29 million dogs travel with their owners each year, according to the Travel Industry Association of America, and some resorts appear to be keeping that in mind. The Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia, for example, has fresh gourmet doggie biscuits at the concierge desk and a doorman who will take Fido for a walk.
