Delta AirElite Continues Rapid Expansion

Delta AirElite, the business aviation subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, has added nine business jets to its aircraft management fleet, bringing its total number of managed airplanes to more than 50. The new arrivals, all based in the U.S., include two Learjet 31A and three Beechjet 400A light jets; one Learjet 60 and one Citation Excel midsize jets; and two Citation X super-midsize jets. Earlier this year, Delta AirElite doubled the size of its fleet with the acquisition of Kinston, N.C.-based Segrave Aviation, a jet charter and management company that specializes in online booking and flight management technology. In June, the firm introduced the Delta AirElite Card, which offers clients the ability to book scheduled commercial flights and on-demand private jet service in a single transaction with their pre-paid AirElite account. Delta AirElite is based at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Boone County, Ky.
