UK Startup Offers Shared Jet Flights

Victor, a new UK-based members-only aircraft charter booking and price comparison website, allows travelers to reduce costs by selling spare legs and seats to one another. The initial focus is on using European operators and on flying to UK and European destinations in light jets, according to founder and CEO Clive Jackson. Membership is free at Victor, which charges a 5 percent fee to book flights but rebates 70 percent of any rebooking of what would have been an empty leg, or seats on operating legs, to the booking member. Alternatively, the rebate can be used to reduce the amount each passenger pays. Members can also "watch" available or proposed flights and book one when enough people want the same route and the price split falls to their specified levels.
