<p>A single Safran Helicopter Engines Arriel 2D turboshaft, which generates 952 shaft horsepower, powers the Airbus H130. True to the lineage of the AS350, the H130 reaches its maximum flight altitude at 23,000 feet, with a fast cruise speed of 128 knots and a sea-level range of 327 nautical miles when the standard 937-pound-capacity fuel tanks are full. Maximum takeoff weight (mtow) with an external load is 6,724 pounds while mtow and useful load with standard internal weight are 4,512 and 2,306 pounds, respectively.</p>

<p>With a cabin volume of 130.7 cubic feet, the Airbus H130 allows for up to seven passengers with either one or two pilots. Passenger seating configurations include a six-seat standard layout and a seven-seat configuration for tourism flights or other high-density operations. Several other options are available, including for firefighting, emergency medical services, and surveillance roles.
