The COVID-19 pandemic that erupted in March 2020 initially resulted in a steep reduction in the number of business aircraft flights. Before long, however, demand started climbing as people gravitated away from the airlines. Meanwhile, the industry stepped up its efforts to help alleviate the crisis by carrying essential supplies and personnel to where they were needed most.
