Aviation Services Facility Opens in Kansas City

The Hangar 10 aviation-services complex at Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport in Kansas City, Mo., has opened. The operation is currently housed in temporary quarters on 10 acres at the northwest end of the airport, but ground was broken last January on a 91,000-square-foot facility that will include an executive terminal with a fitness center, pilot overnight rooms and other amenities. The complex will also incorporate three hangar bays, two of which will be capable of handling aircraft as large as the Gulfstream 650.
