Cirrus Launches Turnkey Aircraft Management Service

Cirrus Aircraft formally launched the Cirrus One aircraft management service for owners of SR-series pistons and SF50 Vision Jets at the recent Sun ’n Fun Aerospace Expo. The turnkey product leverages the company’s concierge suite of services to provide complete aircraft management, including pilots, hangar storage, insurance, and aircraft maintenance.

All Cirrus aircraft, regardless of model year, are eligible for Cirrus One, according to company executive director Jonah Santom. Eleven Cirrus aircraft are already enrolled in the program, he said. Santos added that co-ownership arrangements can also be done under Cirrus One, noting that the company is currently working on such a deal for a 50/50 partnership on a Vision Jet for two customers in central Florida.

Cirrus One is currently available only at Cirrus campuses in Kissimmee, Florida; Dallas; and Phoenix. The aircraft manufacturer will be expanding that list, but Santom told BJT that Cirrus can leverage its network of 216 authorized service centers to provide similar owner services (but not under the Cirrus One branding) in other U.S. cities.

According to Santom, the Cirrus IQ flight data monitoring service—which allows for proactive aircraft maintenance and pilot safety report cards—will be available under Cirrus One by year-end. Other future enhancements include digital maintenance logbooks, he said.
