Light Business Airplane Conferences Take Shape

Features of the 2010 conventions of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

The 2010 conventions of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will both feature six forums aimed at users of light business aircraft. The NBAA meeting is set for October 19 to 21 in Atlanta while the AOPA conference will take place November 11 to 13 in Long Beach, Calif. "A large portion of the businesses that use aviation are small companies, many of which use smaller piston-powered aircraft," said NBAA CEO Ed Bolen (in photo), who added that the forums "can help to ensure we're supporting their specific needs and addressing their unique challenges."

The six forums include: How to Use General Aviation for Business Purposes; Tax Benefits of Aircraft Ownership; Single Pilot: Safely; Getting Reimbursed for Flights: What Do the FARs Say?; an Insurance Panel; and Moving Up to a Turbine Aircraft.
