Embraer’s Phenom 100 began production in 2008 and initially cost $3.18 million. As of September 2018, a used Phenom 100 in good condition could be purchased for $2 million or less.

The Phenom 100’s “Prodigy” glass-panel avionics system is built around the Garmin G1000 suite. It features three interchangeable 12-inch flat-panel displays—primary displays for each pilot position and a center multifunction display. The system integrates all primary flight, navigation, communication, terrain, weather, engine-instrumentation, and crew-alerting data.

The Phenom 100 can seat six passengers and has a range of 915 nautical miles. Early models of the Phenom 100 had a cruise speed of 390 knots. The latest version of the Phenom 100, the Phenom 100EV, cruises at 405 knots, climbs faster, and has better high/hot runway performance. 

The Phenom 100’s Pratt & Whitney PW600 series engines are rated at 1,695 pounds of thrust each. The Phenom 100’s cabin has a height of 4.9 feet, a width of 5.1 feet, and a length of 11 feet. The Phenom 100 has a maximum takeoff weight of 10,472 pounds. According to Conklin & de Decker, the Phenom 100 has a total cost per year of $841,772, including variable and fixed costs plus market depreciation and assuming usage of 175,000 nautical miles and 543 flight hours.
