Embraer Delivers First Lineage 1000

Brazilian manufacturer Embraer announced today that it has delivered its first Lineage 1000 executive jet. The buyer is Al Jaber Aviation, a charter operator based in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The company, which began operations in June 2009, already owns two Legacy 600 jets and has ordered four more Lineage 1000s, which will make it the largest Lineage 1000 operator. AJA has also ordered four Legacy 450s and four Legacy 500s. The Legacy 1000, Embraer's biggest executive jet, sells for approximately $46 million. It can carry 19 passengers and has a range of 4,400 nautical miles with eight passengers.
