Rock Star Launches Air Charter Service

Vince Neil, lead singer for the hard rock band Motley Crue, took off from his Las Vegas hometown Tuesday for the Cayman Islands on the debut flight of his new charter jet service. Vince Neil Aviation, which will offer flights to New York, Europe and south of the border, will operate a Learjet 35, a Hawker 700 and one additional unnamed jet. Neil--who has sold 80 million record albums with Motley Crue since the band formed in 1981--plans to use the aircraft himself for a South American tour next month. In addition to the charter service, Neil owns a vineyard and a Los Angeles clothing boutique.
