New Report Offers Strategies To Lower Fuel Costs

"Ten Critical Strategies for Long-Term Fuel Savings," a new white paper from the National Business Aviation Association, covers such steps as comparing fuel prices at alternative destination airports and FBOs, calculating aircraft weight for maximum efficiency and determining whether you qualify for a fuel discount. The white paper may be downloaded for free (even by nonmembers) from a page at the association's Web site. According to the NBAA, higher fuel prices are here to stay as "fuel production and refining costs will continue to keep wholesale and retail prices at levels never anticipated just two years ago."
