In the first quarter of 2010, there were 23 percent more sales of pre-owned medium- to long-range business jets than in the first quarter of last year, according to AircraftPost.com. However, first-quarter 2010 transactions were down 25 percent from the same period in 2008. First-quarter figures from corporate aviation information provider JetNet, meanwhile, show pre-owned business jet inventory levels dropping to 15.6 percent of the fleet from 17.7 percent last July.
