Cessna Announces Quick-Turn Refurbishment Program

Witchita-based Cessna Aircraft Company has announced a program to reduce lead times required for interior refurbishment of classic Citations. Under the RightNow Interiors program, the manufacturer's nine service centers will stock pre-selected, certified interior-design materials, eliminating what had typically been eight-to-12-week waits for orders to arrive. "This program is another way to add flexibility into the maintenance process for our customers, or to fast-track a refurbishment for a new customer eager to get an airplane updated," said Stan Younger, Cessna's vice president of service facilities. Younger noted that customers can choose from five pre-selected interior schemes or combine in-stock materials for more than 2,000 custom looks. The program is available for all Citations except the Mustang.
