Dassault Falcon Forecasts Strong Brazilian Bizav Market

Brazil will rank among the world's fastest-growing business aviation markets as the industry recovers, predicted Dassault Falcon president and CEO John Rosanvallon at the 2010 Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE) in São Paulo. "Brazil has experienced a very healthy growth in GDP and benefits from a diversified economy built on exports," he added. "All of the elements for a very bright future in Brazil are in place." Dassault Falcon expects its more than 60-percent market share for large-cabin business jets in Brazil to continue to grow as 13 new Falcons are delivered in the country over the next five years. The company's service facility in Sorocaba opened in June last year and recently received FAA certification to perform maintenance on U.S.-registered aircraft. Dassault has hired three additional employees at the facility this year to meet current and future demand.
