Illinois Facility Takes First Place in FBO Survey

J.A. Air Center at Aurora [Ill.] Municipal Airport is the top-rated business aviation ground-support facility in the Americas, according to the 2011 FBO Survey by BJT sister publication Aviation International News. Following Aurora in the top 10 were Global Select at Sugarland [Texas] Regional Airport; XJet at Colorado's Centennial Airport; Pentastar Aviation at Oakland County [Mich.] International Airport; Hangar 10 at Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport in Missouri; Tampa International Jet Center at Tampa [Fla.] International Airport; Wilson Air Center at Memphis [Tenn.] International Airport; Fargo [N.D.] Jet Center at Hector International Airport; Wilson Air Center at North Carolina's Douglas International Airport; and Banyan Air Center at Fort Lauderdale [Fla.] Executive Airport.

Pilots, flight attendants, dispatchers and other AIN subscribers who have frequent interaction with FBOs provided a total of 23,452 evaluations of more than 1,700 facilities worldwide in the AIN survey.
