NETJETS EXPANDING FLEET AND REAL ESTATE FOOTPRINT

New aircraft deliveries and locations nationwide provide NetJets customers greater access to private travel.

From coast to coast, private aviation pioneer NetJets is continuing its steady growth, adding cutting-edge jets to its expansive fleet and breaking ground on new facilities. For its customers, these investments in aircraft and infrastructure are yet another reminder of the leader in private aviation’s financial stability and continued commitment to elevated, effortless travel.

New Facilities in Key Regions

NetJets currently has more than a dozen real estate projects underway across top markets in the United States, from refurbishing existing terminals to constructing brand-new hangars.

"We are proud to announce our latest investments in support of growing our real estate footprint, which will feature renovated terminals and NetJets Service Hubs™ in key markets,” said Patrick Gallagher, President, NetJets Aviation. “By introducing new NetJets Service Hubs in the West and strengthening our partnerships with airports, we continue to help our Owners reach across the country with ease.”

As hangar and ramp availability continue to be pain points for many private jet operators, NetJets is investing in state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring streamlined travel experiences that exceed its customers’ needs and expectations.

In Scottsdale, AZ, the first exclusive-use NetJets Service Hub™ opened its doors on August 1 of this year. NetJets strategically places Service Hubs across the country where its customers travel most frequently, allowing for more efficient aircraft maintenance and servicing. Built from the ground up to support those flying in and out of Scottsdale Airport (SDL), the new facility is operated in partnership with Jet Aviation solely for the use of NetJets customers. They can take advantage of VIP conference rooms, a private lobby, covered parking, and vehicular ramp access, which allows ground transportation to drop passengers off planeside for seamless boarding.

Also in the West, NetJets opened a dedicated terminal in Bozeman, Montana (BZN) just last year, and will be opening a new exclusive-use terminal near Vail, CO (EGE), prior to the 2024 ski season. Dozens of other projects are currently in development from coast to coast, including exclusive-use terminals, Service Hubs, and hangars.

Expanding the Finest Fleet

At the beginning of this year, NetJets announced it would take delivery of approximately 200 factory-new jets between 2024 and 2025, further cementing its position as the world’s largest, most diverse private jet fleet. True to its word, as 2024 draws to a close, it is on track to meet that goal, which is welcome news for travelers who are increasingly turning to shared ownership for its reliability and high-quality experience. According to an August CNBC article citing Argus International data, charter flight demand has declined by 15% post-pandemic, while shared ownership flights have increased by 12% in that same timeframe.

As it keeps pace with market demand, NetJets is particularly focused on growing its midsize fleet, which is the most requested cabin class among its customers. Midsize aircraft seat up to eight passengers and have a flight range of up to seven hours, making them ideal for accessing the entirety of the continental U.S. Notable jets in this class include the newly launched Cessna Citation Ascend and the Embraer Praetor 500, both entering service in 2025, as well as the industry-favorite Citation Latitude. In fact, NetJets currently operates more than half of the Latitudes in service worldwide.
