Clean Lines and Contrast: A Legacy 600 Interior Refined

Duncan Aviation’s Provo, Utah, team took a disciplined, design-forward approach to the interior refurbishment of this Embraer Legacy 600, creating a space defined by structure, contrast, and modern detailing.

Led by Senior Lead Designer Molly Pfeiffer, the vision centered on a geometric aesthetic. Every element was intentionally squared off and streamlined, avoiding organic shapes in favor of crisp lines and a more architectural feel.

A standout feature is the high-gloss black veneer, accented with subtle silver streaking. The material introduces depth and movement while maintaining a sleek, contemporary tone. To balance the darker cabinetry, the seats were kept a bright, clean white, helping the cabin feel open and inviting.

The seating itself was redesigned with sharper lines and a more modern profile. Horizontal quilting, paired with perforated inserts and matching thread, enhances the tailored look. Black leather accents along the tops of the armrests add definition and tie into other details throughout the cabin, including the lower sidewalls. 

Satin nickel plating further reinforces the modern aesthetic, while a custom carpet with grey and black diagonal patterning adds visual interest without disrupting the structured theme.

Soft elements were carefully integrated to maintain comfort. A fabric divan and textured grey curtains introduce subtle warmth, complementing the overall palette while staying true to the linear design language. New window shades complete the refreshed look.

In the galley and lavatory, updated countertops and durable flooring enhance both function and finish. A wood grab rail, inspired by Gulfstream styling, adds a touch of symmetry while breaking up the lighter tones in the cabin.

The result is a refined, contemporary interior that feels cohesive and intentional throughout, proving that a clean, structured approach can deliver both sophistication and comfort in the Legacy 600 platform.
