The new terminal and hangars are part of the company's nearly $30 delelopment at the Utah airport.

Atlantic Aviation recently held the grand opening of its new FBO at Utah’s Salt Lake City International Airport.  The service provider has had a presence at the airport since 2015, when it purchased the former Salt Lake Jet Center, one of two FBOs on the field.

Since then, the chain has spent approximately $30 million there on projects that include ramp reconstruction, renovation of an adjacent vacant hangar to use as a temporary FBO while the old terminal was demolished, a new fuel farm, and, now, the FBO complex that was completed in February, after 16 months of construction.

The new facility at Portland International Airport was constructed as a partnership between the service provider and the airport.

The new facility features a 12,700-square-foot terminal with a vaulted lobby and gas fireplace, pilots' lounge with en-suite restroom and shower, snooze room, flight-planning area, refreshment bar with ramp observation lounge, two conference rooms (seating 16 and eight), and on-site car rental. A pair of new 30,000-square-foot heated hangars that can shelter aircraft up to the size of a Gulfstream G650 bring the location to more than 100,000 square feet of aircraft storage.
